The 4th annual Usage-Based Linguistics conference, jointly organized by Tel Aviv University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, will be held at the Tel Aviv University campus, July 2-4, 2018.
The conference aims to bring together researchers who study spoken and written language structure and use from a wide range of perspectives – typological, corpus, developmental, psycholinguistic, interaction-oriented, text-oriented, and computational. This year’s special theme is:
The contribution of real language data to linguistic theories
We are delighted to have three invited speakers whose work touches on this theme from different perspectives:
- Adele Goldberg (Princeton University)
- Emmanuel Keeulers (Tilburg University)
- Shuly Wintner (Haifa University)
